Abstract
The paper dwells upon the festive ritual content and its manifestations. The chief place belongs to festive ritual codes (event-actionable, communicative, role, time and space, musical and sound, color and light, decorative and artistic, plastic and rhythmic, attribute, culinary, game and emotional), which shape expressive manifestations of a festival. Composition of the codes is designed for transferring festive ritual sacral meanings.
