Abstract
The article considers the specific application of the scientific method, particularly a mathematical modelling method as a way of economic and advertising media planning problemsolving. It is shown that use of methods of economic-mathematical modelling allows to develop the quantitative theory of the media planning to optimise advertising arrangement in mass-media.
