Abstract
Social activities of Eastern Urals Monasteries at the end of the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th centuries included preaching, the cult of the Saints arranging, religious art and education promoting, orphans’ treatment and charity. A large scale of Еkaterinburg eparchy monasteries’ social activities set an example for monasteries’ economy efficiency, and the fact is proved by the first introduced archival documents.
