Abstract
The article considers various aspects of the USSR foreign policy in the Middle East during the 1973 Arab-Israeli war including the USA foreign policy interactions. At the same time, the diplomacy of the both world Powers is regarded as a demanded and efficient resource of international problems solving. In addition the paper analyses Soviet interests in the Middle East as well as Soviet diplomatic counterparts’ specific policy in the region which influenced the world political situation.
