Dio Сhrysostom: Rhetorician on Philosophy

The article presents the author’s translation from the ancient Greek of «On Philosophy» dialogue by Dio Chrysostom. In the dialogue Dio condemns a pseudo-philosophical sophistical idea of philosophy and convinces the reader that true philosophy cannot be reconciled to any vice; it turns a man away from ignominious and wicked behavior.
