Abstract
The paper regards Puccini’s opera «Princess Turandot» as a synthesis of cultures, artistic styles, theatre developmental areas («Theatre of the Senses» and «Theatre of the Imagination»). «Turandot» seems to be the most humanistic work of art, a manifestation of the 20th century romanticism and humanism.
