Abstract
A philosophical vision of the theatre performance (as the screen version and consequently the cinematic transformation of a script) has been presented in the article. The example of this new theatre performance is Moscow Ermolova Theatre «The Picture of Dorian Gray» stage version produced by a young stage director Aleksandr Sozonov with the help of the theatre’s artistic director Oleg Men’shikov in 2013.
