Contemporary Dance as Cultural Microcosm: Corporeal Models on the Threshold of Modernist and Postmodern Cultures

The article offers methods of considering modern dance phenomena through the prism of «corporeal models» fixing the changed attitude towards the human body and corporeality in a particular socio-cultural situation. With the help of this technique one of the crisis transition periods in culture has been studied, the results of its overcoming – cultural and artistic meanings – are relevant to the present day.
