The Notions of Secular and Postsecular Culture: Historical Transformations

The article considers the notions of secular and postsecular culture, analyzes the process that brings them to life, looks upon the differences in the understanding of these concepts by different groups of scientists, deals with the existing points of view on the seriousness of postsecular tendencies, discusses causes and effects of secularization and post-secularization as well as interconnection of postmodern culture and postsecularization.
