Ethos of the Third Age: Problems and Perspectives

The specifics of the ethos of the third age are revealed and the comparative analysis of two opposite models of older age accommodation is given in the article. The existing image of an old age in ethical coordinates of modern Russian society is shown and need for humanization of an old age is proved. The forming of social gerontological formation institute is considered as a factor of humanization of the ethos of the third age in a positive model format.
