Abstract
This monography R. Psfhy «Ramanuja’s “Vedarthasamgraha” and Becoming of Vishishta-advaita-vedanta» is the first study of Vishishta-advaita-vedanta philosophy in the history of Russian Indology. In this book the author considers the main principles of this system of Vedanta, scrutinizes foreign and native researches of Ramanuja’s philosophy, analyses his treatise “Vedarthasamgraha” and makes the adequate translation of Yamunacharya’s “Gitarthasamgraha” and Ramanuja’s “Vedarthasamgraha”, the sacred texts of vishishta-advaita system. This kind of texts was difficult to understand because of the amount of complicated sentences, phrases, so the ordinary people weren’t able to read it. This monography gives us the opportunity to read the forbidden texts, that’s why the value of this book is so high. It’s good not only for vedantists, but to everyone, who is interested in Indian philosophy.
