The Silver Age Bohemia, s Costume: a Problem Statement

The article presents the costume in theoretical semiotic and communicative paradigm. There are two types of costume communication: the costume as a text and the costume as an expression. The expression can be both individual and group statement. Turning to costume of the Silver Age bohemia (which authors consider as the artistic subculture) is motivated by the idea that the costume provided a clear specified cultural expression where the group and the individual coexisted in harmony.
