Abstract
The article studies the Evdokimov’s philosophy of sex. P. N. Evdokimov is a representative of religious-philosophical thought in Russian Diaspora. The lack of Russian publications concerning P. N. Evdokimov’s anthropology encouraged the author to endeavor this kind of research. The Evdokimov’s idealistic approach to the problem of man has been noted. A distinguishing feature of his anthropology is his belief in the essential difference between the masculine spirit and the feminine spirit. As the source of this conviction, the author mentions the Evdokimov’s commitment to sophiology. Following this idea, Evdokimov recognizes only an androgyne as a perfect creature.
