E. Kassirer's Contribution to the Development of Philosophical Anthropology

The article discusses the development of philosophical anthropology by E. Kassirer. The essence of man has been viewed through the nature–culture and life–spirit dichotomies. The author concludes that interaction of a human being and physical reality is mediated with symbolic forms. This reveals the connection between two forms of the spirit: the culture as a sphere of creation and the inner world of a man.
