The Art as an Agent of Political Myth Implementation

The article presents a research of interactions between the political myth and the arts. On the one hand, the art is a tool helpful to achieving political goals. Creating myths-images for mass consciousness, the art serves as an important "agent" of political myths-ideas. On the other hand, myths-images in cultural memory beyond the area of ideology play quite a different part. The art is a form, which promotes political myths of the past to be included into current realities, and cultural memory to be transformed as well.
