Abstract
The article addresses the book by V. Semenkov «Philosophy as Knowledge: Modes of Production and Recognition», which presents an ambiguous interpretation of the Urals Philosophical School. The author makes an effort to prove the significance of steady academic knowledge delivered to the students in teaching. The article describes I. Y. Loifman’s personality as the Teacher and highlights the importance of his pedagogy for developing creativity in his disciples.
