Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of issues of small business crediting in Russia. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the trends of lending to small businesses within the framework of state support of the Russian Federation. The author presents the main indicators of state financing of small enterprises, analyzes the loan portfolio and credit products for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs): the volume of loans extended to small businesses, the volume of overdue loans for SMEs. She also identifies the main development trends of lending in the SME segment – leading industries obtaining loans and preferences of SMEs with respect to the long-term loans. There is a positive dynamics in the implementation of concessional lending for SMEs in 2017. In comparison with the previous year, a certain revival of business activity is expected due to state support facilitating the access to credit products for small businesses that could contribute to their development.
