Abstract
Providing constitutional and other rights of citizens, legality and supremacy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation is the most important condition for the existence and development of Russia as a democratic federal law-based state, in which human and civil rights and freedoms are recognized and guaranteed according to generally accepted principles and norms of international law. At the same time, reflections on the current state and development of the judicial system of the Russian Federation should be based on the axiom that it is the basis of the legal mechanisms of the state for the effective protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens. In the Russian state, the rights and freedoms of a person and citizen constitutionally enshrined are directly applicable. Everyone is guaranteed judicial protection of their rights and freedoms by an independent and impartial court. Main trends of the Russian legal system reforming are ensuring access of citizens and organizations to justice, its maximum openness and transparency and, as a result, the implementation of the principle of independence and objectivity in rendering judicial decisions, as well as optimization, intensification of the judicial process and simplification of the procedure for the consideration of disputes and enforcement of judicial decisions in the Russian Federation.
