Spirit and the Spiritual Development of Man from the Standpoint of Theosophy

The article examines the concept of spirit and spiritual development of man in theosophy as esoteric teaching. Attention is paid to the interpretations of the spirit gradations. The internal determination of human spiritual development is shown as it is in theosophy. The article reveals the influence of the ancient East doctrines on theosophy and shows the theosophy views on morality and moral behavior of a person. The way that theosophists use to manage the desires and emotions of a person is demonstrated as well as their interpretation of the man’s achievement of both pleasures and sufferings.
