Abstract
The paper concerns the issues of creation and recognition of the main international rights of the child standards. It analyzes activities of various bodies and specialized institutions of the UN for protection of the rights of children. Special reports devoted to protection of the rights of children prepared by the United Nations Secretary General, United Nations Children's Fund, special rapporteurs of the United Nations Human Rights Council, representatives of OHCHR and UVKB are considered.
