On Aesthetic and Stylistic Criteria of Musical Romanticism

The article analyzes the problem of aesthetic and stylistic criteria to be used to determine the boundaries of romantic art culture (first of all, in relation to musical art). The author considers the proposed criteria both from the point of view of cultural studies and in the traditional musicological paradigm. According to the author, this synthetic approach is fruitful.
