Abstract
The elimination of the separation of powers in Russia creates conditions for forming contradictory constitutional legislation. The Constitution of the Russian Federation itself is contradictory, especially after the adoption of the amendments in 2020. There exist many contradictions between the norms of the Constitution and the laws. Bill of rights declares democracy. The legislation introduces an authoritarian regime. Instead of a republic, laws contribute to the emergence of a monocracy. Imperial relations are replacing the federal ones. The supreme value of the state is substituting the highest value of man.
