Humanitarian Diplomacy and Human Rights: Theory and Practice (A Review Article on the Results of the Round Table)

The review article presents main ideas and problems discussed by Russian and foreign scholars and practitioners in the roundtable session including: humanitarian diplomacy as a diplomacy of “soft power”, the phenomenon of humanitarian intervention, international humanitarian collaboration, etc. The authors also consider specific features of present-day humanitarian diplomacy and new directions in human rights research.
