Abstract
The paper explores the legal context of advertising activity on television channels. The author aims to investigate violations of legal norms in an advertising context and to provide suggestions for correcting the situation. The method used was the content analysis of TV shows during 2 months of 2021. The author’s conclusion resides in the need to form a set of legitimate measures to exclude false advertising products that harm the mental health of citizens, and, above all, children.
