Abstract
The article considers issues associated with the development of legal educational resources of the media sector, media education, and the formation of a contemporary media culture. It examines the main directions, priorities, specific features, and peculiarities of the formation and development of the educational capacity of the media sphere in today’s Russia in the context of human rights, development of legal culture, including human rights culture, and the educational and human rights activities of the Russian Commissioner for Human Rights.
