Features of the S.S. Alekseev’s Conceptual Approach to the Category “Legal Relationship”

This article is devoted to the analysis of the category “legal relationship” in the S.S. Alekseev’s works. The author highlighted its distinguishing features, drew a logical conclusion about the importance of the phenomenon under study at the present time, due to a change in the subject of legal impact. So, we assume that it is not worth pushing the individual will into the background so categorically, with respect to the state will in legal relations. This includes a consideration of the distinction between legal relations and social relations as such. According to the concept proposed by Professor S.S. Alekseev, the criterion for distinguishing social relations from legal relations can be the legal impact, i.e. its means and subject.
