Abstract
In the article, the author tries to explore the transformation of national cultures in the context of globalization through the prism of the processes of universalization or unification of cultural values. The rapprochement of people and the interaction of cultures in the context of globalization lead not only to mutual enrichment, but also to a conflict of values, when Western values are presented as universal. According to the author, the national and religion values that underlie the value orientation of the nation help the national culture maintain its uniqueness in the world of globalization. Education and information literacy are key factors that allow people to be more aware of global trends and understand the significance of national values in the context of global culture.
