Abstract
In the context of the cognitive culture of society, the article analyzes the content of the category of “corporeality” and various socio-philosophical approaches to understanding it using an integrative (“rational-sensory”) methodology. Religious interpretations of corporeality as a connecting construct of body and spirit are taken into account. Mixing and internal contradictions in the concepts of corporeality are revealed. Everyday reality constitutes a rational-sensory basis for the cognition of corporeality, providing the necessary empirical material for the corresponding teachings in the framework of phenomenology and existentialism. Mundane, profound and theoretical levels of corporeality awareness and attitude towards it from the standpoint of social practices, moral and cultural guidelines of different groups of the population are differentiated. Promising directions for changing the boundaries of corporeality are outlined, taking into account the latest achievements and expected results of scientific progress. It is proposed to cultivate a responsible level of attitude of the population towards corporeality within the framework of specialized areas of state policy in the field of culture and sports based on the existing regulatory framework. It has been determined that the desire of each new generation to improve the conditions of its existence is expressed in the constant search and finding of ways to expand the capabilities of its body and spirit in the format of cyborgization, hybridization, digital avatarization and other methods. It is concluded that the phenomenon of corporeality is a permanent object of cognitive culture, reflecting the achieved level of development of public consciousness, the study of which opens up prospects for forecasting and designing socio-cultural dynamics in the broadest sense.
