Abstract
The article addresses the issue of measuring social justice in EAEU countries, which, being an abstract and evaluative category, necessitates devising methods to render it as structured and quantifiable as possible. Minimum state social standards (hereinafter – MSSS) are considered as indicators for assessing its implementation. The current situation in the Russian Federation characterized by the fragmentation of regulation and the absence of a unified federal law on MSSS is analyzed in detail. Based on an examination of foreign experience, specifically in EAEU countries, as well as the doctrinal and legislative aspects of the issue, the necessity of adopting a federal law on MSSS is substantiated. The positive aspects of adopting such a law are noted, in particular, the establishment of a normative definition of this category, general guidelines, and lists of areas in which standards should be set, which in turn will contribute to streamlining the practical implementation of social justice.
