Abstract
The famous Picasso painting depicting two characters – a sure-footed, square figure of a circus athlete and a twisting, sliding one of an acrobat – is used as a metaphor in this article. The start of cultural paradigm shift is envisioned fixing symptoms of cultural “weariness” called for by “liquid” postmodern imbalance and a yearning for “solid” values of the coming epoch.
