Abstract
This paper analyzes the structural changes in the Russian economy and their impact on economic growth in Russia. Changes in the macroeconomic structure of revenues and expenses, changes in the sectoral and regional structure of the Russian economy are the main objects of research. Macroeconomic, structural and institutional factors were among the main reasons for the significant increase in the share of wages and household consumption in gross domestic product, as well as reducing the share of net exports, which had a significant impact on economic growth. Changes in the sectoral and regional structure of the costs of production factors and weak dynamics of total factor productivity also contributed to the slowdown in economic growth and changes in the structure of the economy. The results of the econometric model developed by the authors were used in the paper.
