Abstract
The review presents the basic ideas of the reports and speeches presented at the seminar. They include issues related to formation, development and functioning of the Russian Red Cross (RRC), the Red Cross in France and Serbia, as well as cooperation and interaction of RRC with government agencies and civil society institutions, the role of the RRC in the social protection of vulnerable populations.
