Abstract
The principle of legal certainty, which has received its justification in the practice of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, is repeatedly mentioned alongside the principle of equality of all before the law and the court. In this sense, it is of scientific interest to disclose the relationship of these principles and clarify their relationship. The study concluded that these principles are interrelated and mutually agreed upon, a conflict between them is impossible in the process of law enforcement, and violation of one of them always leads to violation of the other.
