Abstract
The article examines the SCO normative legal acts aimed at ensuring global food security. The author concludes that the concept of ‘food security’ is enshrined in the fundamental normative acts of the SCO and notes that, despite the high importance of ensuring food security in modern conditions, this problem is not given priority in the SCO legislation. The author of the article formulated proposals for changing the SCO regulations. According to the researcher, the improvement of the SCO regulatory framework will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the organization’s activities in ensuring global food security both on the Eurasian continent and in the world as a whole.
