The Review of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation’s Practice in Contesting Specific Provisions of the Family Code of the Russian Federation

The Family Code of the Russian Federation has repeatedly been the subject of federal constitutional proceedings. The paper sets out to analyze the legal position of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Family Code of the Russian Federation. The present study examines the subjects of appeals to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, the criteria of admissibility of such appeals and the limits of verification within the framework of this topic.
